  The meal itself was dreadful, my salad was not up to standard and the portion size wasnt either. We sent the salad back, and it got returned to me with even worse meat off the carvery. In the end I left my salad as it really did not taste right and was not up to the standard the food once was. The service was as good as can be with such disappointing food. The place itself did not seem clean enough and an individual catching a disease as bad as E.Coli seems the most likely outcome.

  In my job I need receipts to prove expenditure the staff at the watermead seem to ignore this when I ask for one five out of six requests were ignored. Is it so unusual or unreasonable a request. For this reason only I cannot recommend the place

  Very clean hygienic pub. They obviously take pride in The pubs appearance. The food is nice. The staff are friendly helpful and approachable. Well groomed and professional. The drinks are pricey but otherwise a nice family oriented atmosphere. Cosy in fact. Would recommend a visit
